Police are investigating two garage burglaries that occurred on the 12-13th of January 2026, sometime between the hours of 1600 -1600 on Main Street, Middleton Tyas. One was in the location of DL10 6PE, the other DL10 6PP.

Do you have any information which would assist North Yorkshire Police in finding those responsible and help keep your community safe?

Did you or anyone who you live with, hear or see anything around the above time and date?

Do you have any CCTV coverage capturing the burglary, or anything happening on the street before or after?

Do you have a vehicle with a dash-cam parked in the area?

Security Advice

Ensure that all doors are locked overnight, and windows are locked or on a latch.

Remove any valuables from sight and it is advisable to keep house/cars key, wallets/purses, phones/laptops/tablets in the room where you sleep.

Consider fitting a security light to the side of your property.
